What are diet costs?

When you do an assignment for a client that requires you to travel, you could be eligible for refunds for those travels. This may include transport, overnight stays, and food allowance, depending on the nature and length of the trip.

Generally, travel reimbursements can be freely agreed upon between the two parties, but certain rules apply with regards to the taxability of the expenses. We recommend that you check out Altinn's webpage regarding this, as changes may happen.
